The monetary reward seems enticing. However, I feel this program could easily be taken advantage of in some areas, specifically to earn points even when the task is not performed. What I like the most is that the program is simplistic and makes wellness seem easy, while earning points & money at the same time. The part that needs improvement will be persuading the university to invest in this program. I would suggest speaking with IUPUI representatives as well as finding ways to keep students from "cheating the system".

It might be difficult to integrate into the school and other organizations. What sort of system would you use? Both the school and student would need incentive. I think it is a great idea tho!

This sounds like a great idea! How are you going to get the school to pay for this? Have you spoken to someone about "tuition reimbursement"? How will you decide what is healthy and what isn't?

Do you think this will work?
Yes, I do actually this program will work if it is promoted correctly throughout campus. Everyone these days seems to be very familiar with “points” programs, from loosing weight to credit cards. So I think as long as people are aware of the program it will work well.

What do you like most about the program?
I like that this is very simple easy program. The concept is simple and can be a fun program, especially if you really want to change habits or to be rewarded for things you already do!!

I think having an online data base is a really great idea.

    What seems problematic?
If it is a program that people have to enroll in or sign up for, it may be difficult to get people to participate. It might be a better idea to ask if they would like to participate when they first apply for their Jag Tag. That way no one misses the information. Or like you mentioned make it a mandatory program for everyone.

Another issue I have with the program, is taking away points, this is considered negative reinforcement and isn’t usually the best way to get individuals to change behaviors. Maybe instead of taking points away, simply have zero points earned.

As long as people don’t come up with a way of cheating the system, I think this is a great idea! When it comes to money, people can become very aggressive in getting it, so maybe it is a good idea to keep the rewards to simple objects, gift cards, or coupons (I-tunes credits may be a good idea) instead of tuition re-imbursement or other actual monetary incentives.

    Do you have any suggestions?
It may be difficult but I think everything should be credited through your Jag tag, instead of using sign in sheets.

(a side note) The flyer is great! I really like the layout, although I know nothing about designing anything, I do know that the green color was really difficult to read on my computer.

Who will be supervising this? Seems like it could be taken advantage of easily. Have you gotten full cooperation from the school? It's great that you're including all 6 aspects of wellness... try to make them all more equal. Good job!
